Feeling Like Fall- Your Favorite Things

In the previous issue of Member News, we asked you what your favorites things are about RVing in the fall. We love the answers we received! From cooler temps to less crowded campgrounds, it's clear that fall is a beloved time of year. We hope you're looking forward to it as much as these members:

  • In our Facebook group, Jan S. shared "Cool temps, very few bugs & amazing nature to see."
  • Rae C.M. also told us "I love fall foliage of the NE, real maple syrup, and natural honey"
  • On our discussion forum, RV Network, sandsys is excited that "the mosquitoes all died." (We gotta say, that's definitely a perk of cooler temps!)
  • From our RVillage group, The Bergaurers are eager to head back to Arizona for "sun, fun with friends and golf."
News on the RVer Job Exchange!
Earlier this year, we revamped and relaunched the RVer Job Exchange, making it more accessible and useful for both those seeking work and those seeking to hire.

To help us further improve the resources available to RVers through RVJE, as well as work with employers to better understand the benefits of hiring RVers, we are working with Cairn Consulting Group to circulate a survey.

In the coming days, you should receive an emailed invitation to complete a survey about your experiences as a working RVer. We are seeking input from a variety of RVers and those interested in RVing, and welcome input from anyone who works part-time, full-time, self-employed, and even those who complete volunteer work. You may RV part-time, full-time, and anywhere in between. This should only take about eight minutes of your time.

Data gathered through this survey will help us update the tools and resources available from the Exchange so they better align with the needs of those for whom it was created. That information will also be invaluable in demonstrating to employers, such as those in the RV industry, the importance of adding RVers, and the skills, talents, and knowledge they possess, to their teams.

Cairn Consulting is sweetening the deal by offering a $50 Amazon gift card to five random people who complete the survey. This drawing will be completed after the survey closes on October 29.
